About The Founder
Jay Nieuwoudt
Founder
With many years of experience as a professional offshore sailor, Jay has navigated some of the world’s most challenging waters, completing the equivalent of one and a half circumnavigations of the globe, including five crossings of the South Atlantic. As an exploration skipper and expedition leader, Jay has ventured to some of the most remote destinations like Saint Helena and Ascension Island and undertaken high-stakes voyages through regions such as Somalian pirate territory. These experiences reflect a deep passion for adventure, resilience, and precision.

Building on this rich maritime background, Jay has transitioned into the marine design industry. Integrating his extensive hands-on sailing experience with specialized knowledge in the design and manufacturing of high-performance production multihulls. ​
