We were tasked to design a custom jetski chock system for a new build 90ft power catamaran, with a focus on maintaining the versatility of the front trampoline area. The chock system spans the trampoline, offering a secure and practical solution for jetski storage, while being fully removable to allow the deck space to transform into a more open, social area when the jetski's are not on deck. The removable design ensures that when the chocks are detached, the front trampoline area can be enjoyed as a flush, unobstructed deck, perfect for leisure activities and social gatherings. This approach enhances the flexibility of the yacht, ensuring it remains functional for both recreational use and watersports. The chock system itself was carefully engineered to hold the jetski securely during transit, ensuring stability even in rough sea conditions. Despite its robust construction, it maintains a low-profile aesthetic when in place, blending seamlessly with the yacht’s clean lines and luxury design language. This project highlights Laminar Studios’ ability to deliver bespoke solutions that combine technical precision with thoughtful design. By offering a removable jetski chock system, we provided the client with a versatile solution that optimizes both storage and the usability of valuable deck space.
